These products correct depigmented skin blemishes as they darken the discoloured areas.

They temporarily correct the white patches of vitiligo, as well as skin striae or pale marks of various types, by providing a pseudo-pigmentation similar to physiological pigmentation, which diminishes with natural cell turnover.

It is important to know that

• The active ingredients in our products have been used in the cosmetic industry for decades and significant reactions have never been reported.
• The self-tanning products do not offer protection from the sun's rays or UV lamps.
• They do not have any contraindications.
• They should be applied to dry, well cleansed skin, making sure that all residues of previously used cosmetic products have been removed.
• The application is carried out uniformly over the entire area concerned using a cotton bud, cotton-wool ball or special mitt.
• Initially the colour appears yellow, but after 1/2 minutes, with a chameleon effect, it turns into a more natural tone, like your own skin.
• The degree of colouration achieved varies from case to case. The colour intensity desired can be reached progressively by applying the product several times, remembering that the final result is seen only several hours after application.
• To prolong the colouration achieved, an application every 2/4 days, depending on personal needs, is all that is required.
• Should the product applied extend beyond the edges of the depigmented patch, the darker colouration can be eliminated from the surrounding skin by cleaning with a 5% sodium hypochlorite solution and rinsing immediately after.
• They should be applied to unbroken skin only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.

In case of accidental contact, rinse with abundant quantities of water.

PERSONALIZED PREPARATION

It has the advantage of achieving personalized shades:

Use a pair of disposable gloves.
Pour the System Tan Lotion into the 50 ml bottle, filling it to about three quarters.
Unscrew the lid of the PIGMENTI
Add, to the 50 ml bottle, FROM 2 TO 5 (OR MORE) FULL DROPPERS OF PIGMENTI. Close the bottle.

The instant-colour self-tanning lotion is now ready to use!

FOR SMALL PATCHES OF SKIN

Wet the tip of a cotton bud with lotion and apply to the interior part of the patch, keeping away from the edge by 1/2 millimetres. After applying, clean the palm of your hand with a damp cloth. Clean your nails with a brush.

FOR LARGE AREAS

Apply the product with a cotton-wool ball, only on the depigmented areas or over the entire skin, even skin that has normal pigmentation. You can then pass over the edges with a cotton bud. To intensify the colour, apply the lotion several times. After applying, do not wash the treated areas for at least 3 hours.

The application lasts from 2 days for the face and hands and up to 8 days for the body. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse with abundant quantities of water.

Use CREMA ANTIOSSIDANTE FORTE on a daily basis to ensure the colour lasts for longer and to moisturize and nourish the skin.

Can I swim when I have applied the KIT DERMOTAN?

Do not wash, bathe, shower or do physical exercise that may make you perspire during the development time of the colour, i.e. for a few hours. You can swim once the tan has developed, but swimming in the sea or in a pool which a large amount of chlorine will dissolve the pseudo-tan.

Can I use it during pregnancy?
Yes. The main ingredient is dihydroxyacetone, which acts only on the most superficial layers of the skin. However, it is best not to apply them on the breasts during breast feeding.

Will it protect me from exposure to UV rays?
No. There are no sun filters in these products, therefore during the day it's important to use sun protection.

How does this product work?
It contains a completely harmless active ingredient that gives the skin a natural colour, DHA, which is a colourless sugar. Interacting with the amino acids on the surface layer of the skin, DHA creates a temporary colour, a pseudo tan.
How much time do I have to wait before having a shower?
If possible, up to 8 hours. The tan can continue to develop for up to 24 hours.

How long will it last?
Usually from 2 to 10 days, depending on the type of skin. To ensure the new tan lasts as long as possible, use CREMA ANTIOSSIDANTE FORTE at least twice a day to nourish and keep the skin in the best possible condition.

Is it tested on animals and can it be harmful?
No, the active ingredients have never had known toxic effects.

I have never used these products. Is there something I should know before applying them?
If you suffer from allergies, you can do a patch test on a delicate area, such as the inside of the arm, 24 hours before application, and wait for any reactions, so that you can be sure you won't have an allergic reaction to the ingredients.

Can I use several products at the same time?
All our products are complementary and can be used together without problem while still maintaining the skin's transparency and without a "make-up" effect.

Can I use the products even if I don't have vitiligo?
All our products can be used by people without dyschromia.
